A group of accommodation providers within a 6 mile
radius of Longleat have decided to cooperate as a group by building a website
for local businesses in the area. The dedicated website www.holidaysnearlongleat.co.uk
helps to promote the area and to hopefully encourage visitors to stay longer to
enjoy what is on offer in the area.
The creation of this business group is very timely, as
the AONB is in the process of submitting a bid to the Sowing Seeds Local Action
Group to support the visitor economy of the area. The bid seeks funding for a
coordinator, part of whose job would be, to encourage more such business
clusters.
