New funds flow from Wessex Water

The South Wiltshire Farmland Birds Project is being supported for the next five years by a £10,000 per annum grant from Wessex Water. The local water company, who derive much of the water we use in the AONB from the aquifers deep within our chalk hills, has made the award to promote the conservation and enhancement of biodiversity that the project can deliver. We are really excited by the opportunities that this will create for the AONB and Wessex Water to work together in the future.
