The AONB has awarded two new grants from the Sustainable Development Fund, a special fund for outstanding projects in the Area. The first is to the Friends of Ludwell Community Orchard who will be planting up an area of Council-owned land in the village with fruit trees. We wewre able to help them with an award of £945.
The second award went to the Parochial Church Council of Berwick St John. We have helped them towards their fund raising for the refurbishment and reordering of the church with a grant of £3,725. We will be helping the PCC to raise the rest of their funds. Are you raising money for your church to repair, refurbish, restore or reorder it?
