The Hummers are an all ability community choir based in Tisbury Wiltshire who sing for fun. Formed in January by local musician Michael Maxwell Steer they have given several performances so far.
The Hummers perform an eclectic mixture of well-known music ranging from Berlin to the Beatles and beyond, which Maxwell arranges to suit individual skills within the choir – which divides into those who prefer the melody, and those who are harmonically more adventurous. Future plans include a shared Christmas concert and various other invitations.
