Richard Benyon visits the AONB

Richard Benyon MP, who is the government minister with responsibility for landscapes and biodiversity, visited our area this month. He came to talk with us, and our collegues from Dorset AONB, North Wessex Downs AONB and the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, about how we can work together better in the future. In particular, how we can work together to coordinate all the wildlife conservation across an area from the Berkshire Downs to the Dorset Coast. We will hear more about this kind of idea, called Nature Enhancement Areas, when the Natural Environment White Paper is launched next month.
