We would be very grateful if you would take the time to fill in the Business Survey below as the results will help support a bid for funding to assist rural businesses and communities within the Dorset part of the AONB.
LEADER is a community-led European funding programme that supports rural development. The Northern Dorset Local Action Group, which covers North and East Dorset and the Sherborne area, is in the process of bidding for over £1.5M to give out in grants to suitable projects that support economic growth.
We will need your response by 15th August in order to include your views in the Local Development Strategy. There will be further opportunities to comment during the programme, but this early stage is important so that the programme can be designed to meet local business needs.
It is anticipated delivery of the programme would then start in early 2015.
